You will notice that your order may be packaged in a used box or recycled packaging. Your shipment may even be packaged in a box with another company's printing.

We want to increase the number of uses and recyclability of materials related to our business operations, which fits well with the other environmentally conscious values ​​of our operations.

We are listening carefully to customer feedback about the use of recycled materials in our shipments - we hope that the world is ready to do a little more in terms of recycling materials.

Return

Although it is highly unlikely that you will want to return products purchased from this online store, please do so within 14 days of the date of purchase, and follow the instructions below.

We want to promote responsible consumption and reduce the environmental impact of returns, including unnecessary transport emissions and the use of packaging materials. Our website is full of instructions so that you can make the right purchasing decision safely. We recommend testing the shade before a larger project or order.

Please note: We will only refund the price of unopened and resalable items, not shipping costs. Discounted, used or discontinued items cannot be exchanged or returned.

1. Send us an email to moi@frenchicpaint.fi with the subject RETURN [Order number] and let us know in the message that you would like to return one (or more) of your products. You can find your order number in the invoice email we sent you when the product was purchased.

2. Return the product using the return code and carefully packaged. The product must be unopened and in its original packaging without damage or markings. Please note that you will pay the return and exchange costs of the product yourself if you use a return method other than returning with a return code. You are also responsible for the costs if the product is damaged or lost during the return. Take the carefully packaged return package to a MATKAHUOLLO location (e.g. R-Kiosk) and give the officer the return code.

Once the returned product has been received at the warehouse and inspected, we will contact you again to inform you that the product has been received and to take the necessary steps.

UNCOLLECTED PACKAGE - RETURNED SHIPMENT - RESENDMENT IS ALWAYS CHARGEABLE

Note: an unclaimed package/returned shipment is not a return.

Returned packages can be reshipped for a shipping and handling fee of 25 EUR. An invoice will be sent automatically once the package has been returned and inspected. By paying the invoice, the products will be reshipped to the same address or pickup location as the original order.

Products purchased from a warehouse store

Flawless goods do not have a statutory right to exchange or return when purchased from a store. The warehouse store grants a 14-day voluntary right to exchange or return for products purchased from the store, against receipt. The returned product must be faultless and saleable. Discounted, used or discontinued products cannot be exchanged or returned.

Complaint

Send us an email, a picture of the product and (from the batch number on the paint can or product lid) a message about what the issue is. Include information about where and when the product was purchased and your contact information: moi@frenchicpaint.fi .

We do not refund products that the customer has decided to use, e.g. paint.

Be prepared to return the product or product packaging before the final processing of the complaint. The return is free of charge when you use the Matkahuolto return code according to the return instructions.

You can only return to us products purchased from this online store.

If you purchased your Frenchic product from our retailer, please contact the place of purchase directly to check the return policy of that company and follow their instructions.

Transport delays and damage, returned shipments

The recipient is always responsible for tracking, tracing and receiving the shipment.

We recommend that you download the Matkahuolto parcel app , where you can track the progress of your parcel or change the pickup point location if necessary.

The sender, Frenchic Paint Finland, is not responsible for the actions or manner of operation of the selected Transport Company or any other company (e.g. Posti, Schenker, Post Nord, Bring, Matkahuolto, etc.) in any way.

For example, if you have selected express delivery, the delivery method you choose will not affect the processing and packaging queue of your products, but orders will always be processed in the order they arrive. The transport company, not Frenchic Finland, will provide the transport for your package.

When processing transport damage, pictures of the packaging, packaging material, product and damage are required.

Please contact the shipping company in question and follow their instructions regarding any errors or complaints related to shipping or shipment handling.

The sender is not liable for lost or delayed shipments. Please note that many parcel pick-up points have reduced the storage time for parcels to up to half of the usual time.

An unclaimed package or returned shipment is not a return.

Returned packages can be reshipped for a shipping and handling fee of 25 EUR. An invoice will be sent automatically once the package has been returned and inspected. By paying the invoice, the products will be reshipped to the same address or pickup location within 7 days.

Products in re-shipped packages are not eligible for return or exchange, and we are not responsible for the condition of returned and re-shipped packages or products. We will not re-ship packages that show damage to the product inside, such as a leak, without opening the package.

Instructions and recommendations

Take care of the package and your products even after pickup.

We do not compensate for freezing or frostbite of products, such as paint, during shipment or after delivery, and we do not accept frozen or frostbitten product(s).

Water-based Frenchic paint is susceptible to freezing, so please do not leave the paint in a cold car in freezing weather, transport or store the paint outdoors in freezing weather or indoors in too cold a place, or order paint from an outdoor dispenser. Frenchic paints are 100% water-based. Frozen/frost-affected paint is not recommended for use.

Test and experiment with shades before a larger project

We make every effort to ensure that the shades in the online store match the actual shades as closely as possible, but shades may vary between devices (depending on several factors, such as screen settings). This means that we cannot guarantee that the paint will match exactly what you see on your screen. Order a color chart, a small can of paint, or visit your nearest retailer to see the colors for yourself. The shade symbol on the side of the paint cans does not match 100% of the paint shade for printing reasons. We recommend visiting a Frenchic retailer to view color charts and painted shade samples and try the product before a larger project. Also, make sure you reserve enough paint for your project.

Make sure you have enough paint to complete the project. Standard industry advice is that if you need more than one can of paint, make sure they are from the same batch number or, if that is not possible, mix the paint batches before painting to ensure a consistent finish.

Unmixed or carelessly mixed paint can produce a large difference in tone compared to a carefully mixed shade.
Carefully mixing the paint (long and along the bases) is important for the correct shade.
If spot painting is needed, we recommend painting the entire area instead of a small spot painting to make the repair work as unnoticeable as possible.
