Coverage:
A 750 ml can covers up to 12.5 m2 and a 250 ml can covers 4 m2.
At least 2 coats are required for a durable finish, so a 750 ml paint can covers over 6 m2 with two coats.
Porous or uneven surfaces, such as clean wood or MDF, tend to absorb paint, meaning that achieving a durable finish will likely require additional coats. In this case, a 750 ml paint can covers about 6 m2. Using paint too thinly may affect durability. If there is a large color difference between the surface and the chosen shade, additional coats may be needed.

Preparation:
Make sure the surfaces are in suitable condition for painting - clean, dry, free of wax, grease, and other substances, and in good condition.
Remove loose or peeling old paint.
Wash and clean the surface, rinse and dry thoroughly.
Roughen the surface by hand or sand mechanically.
Wipe off dust and paint on a clean and dry surface!

Be careful when opening the can lid - we recommend using the Frenchic paint can opener.
Mix the paint thoroughly down to the bottom with a wide tool before the painting project and during a long painting project.
Painting, paint drying and curing:
Apply with a good quality brush or roller. Also suitable for spray painting - thin up to 10-15% (depending on your equipment) with clean tap water and add necessary coats.
Allow the paint to level calmly and the 'Self Levelling' feature to activate by avoiding excessive working of the paint.
There must be at least 1 hour between coats (even if the paint feels touch dry). The paint surface reaches its final hardness in 2-3 weeks under normal conditions. Handle carefully until curing is complete.
Storage and cleaning:
Close the lid tightly after each use.
Clean splashes immediately with warm water.
Wash brushes in warm soapy water immediately after use.
Do not store paint cans in places where the paint can be exposed to moisture, frost, freezing, or high temperatures.
Instructions for choosing a shade:
Order a small 250ml test can home and test the shade before a larger project.
We strive for the best possible accuracy with the shade samples on our pages. However, we cannot always guarantee perfect color reproduction because shades may appear differently depending on screen types and device settings.
Additionally, colors may appear differently at home due to lighting and environment, and they may appear differently depending on the texture and porosity of the surface.
The best way to choose a shade is to visit a Frenchic retailer to see the shades live or order a small sample can and try the paint yourself at home.
Make sure to reserve enough paint to complete the project. The usual industry standard advice is that if you need more than one can of paint, ensure they are from the same production batch (batch number) or if that is not possible, mix the paint batches before painting to ensure a uniform result.
Careful mixing of the paint (for a long time and down to the bottom) is important for the correct shade result.
If spot painting is needed, we recommend painting the entire area instead of a small spot to make the repair as inconspicuous as possible.
Remember that the nature of colors changes depending on lighting and adjacent colors. The color also appears differently on horizontal or vertical surfaces. Coverage and yield are also affected by the paint mixture and the color of the base.
