Choosing a paint is easy with the Frenchic range. If you're painting indoor surfaces, you can choose a shade from any range. 

In brief:

• Only the Al Fresco range is suitable for outdoor and indoor furniture.
• All Frenchic  ranges are suitable for indoor surfaces and furniture.
• Waxes are suitable for indoor surfaces only.
• Finishing coatings are suitable for indoor and outdoor use, for example, to protect the paint finish on exterior doors and garden furniture.

Make difficult decisions simple

Peel & Stick color samples are removable mini samples made with real paint to ensure a perfect color match. No mess, no stress – peel the sticker off its backing, stick it to a wall or cabinet door, and let your heart decide!

By ordering Peel & Stick samples, you can test the paint right where the decision is made: in your own home. Order at least two of your favorite shades and see the difference in natural light, artificial light, and against different wall surfaces. 

Easy to compare and reliable results. 

We do our utmost to ensure that the shades in our online store are as close as possible to the actual shades, but colors may vary between devices -  depending on several factors, such as the display settings on your phone, tablet, or computer.

This means that we cannot guarantee that the paint shade will exactly match what you see on your screen.

We always recommend testing the shade in the space and on the surface where you plan to use it before starting a larger project. Order individual shade cards, a Color Chart, or a Color Guide magazine for color planning.

Please also note that 250 ml and 750 ml tins are always from different production batches. Avoid shade differences between batches by mixing paints from different batches together: this will ensure that the shade is exactly the same throughout your project.

Examine and assess the shade only once it is dry and has been painted at least twice according to the instructions. Order a small tin to test it, or visit your nearest retailer to see the colors in person. The color chart includes shades from two ranges: Al Fresco and Lazy Range.

NOTE! The Peel & Stick sample has the text Chalk Wall Paint printed on it because the shade samples were originally made for choosing wall paint shades. Please note that the shade range in Finland differs from that in England.

However, you can also use a Peel & Stick shade sample to choose shades from other ranges! 

Also make sure you set aside enough paint for your project:

Make sure you set aside enough paint to complete your project. Due to high demand, some shades are also sold out. The standard advice in the industry is that if you need more than one can of paint, make sure they are from the same production batch (batch number) or, if that is not possible, mix the batches together before painting to ensure a consistent result. Thoroughly mixing the paint (for a long time and right down to the bottom) is important to achieve the correct shade. If touch-up painting is needed, we recommend painting the entire area instead of doing a small patch, so that the repair is as inconspicuous as possible.

• Please collect your parcel from the pickup point on time. Reshipping is always subject to a fee.
• Check your email for your order tracking details or to see whether you will receive a call in advance about the delivery. We recommend installing Matkahuolto’s own Paketit app (from the Play Store), which lets you easily track your parcel and change the pickup point yourself if needed.
• Please note that the storage period for parcels has been reduced by as much as half at some pickup points. Not collecting your parcel does not count as a return.

PLEASE NOTE! Open your package and paint tin carefully. Please do not order Frenchic products that are sensitive to frost to outdoor, unheated pickup points. Keep your paint package warm after pickup too; please do not leave water-based paints that are sensitive to frost/freezing in a cold car, for example, while you run errands. We do not recommend using paint that has frozen or been exposed to frost. We do not compensate for paint that has frozen or been exposed to frost.
