Sometimes it can be difficult to choose a paint series and you wonder if the shade and series you have chosen is right for your project.
Since we have several series, we want to help you find the right series for your project.
In this short guide, we will introduce you to the most common options to make your choice easier.

In brief:
- Only the Al Fresco series is suitable for outdoor furniture.
- All series are suitable for indoor surfaces and furniture.
- Waxes and Finishes: for untreated and painted wood.
When choosing paint for your project, please note that the sets have different gloss levels, different shades per set, and different container sizes per set. You can read more about the preparations here.

Frenchic series, can size, coverage and gloss level

WOODEN FLOORS, INDOORS
Chalk Wall Paint:
Also suitable for indoor wood, concrete and most laminate floors, when added as directed - however, note that in these areas it may be necessary to maintain the surfaces regularly depending on wear and tear.
For example, pet claws, sand, and stones easily scratch any paint surface.
Not suitable for areas with standing water, such as shower or sauna floors, and Frenchic paints cannot be used as structural waterproofing.
Finishing coatings
Not for tile floors.
For decorative floor painting, stripes or stenciling, you can also use all other Frenchic series.
If you wish, you can finish the painted surface with a quick-drying, glossy or matte finish.

ONLY PAINT ON CLEAN, INTACT AND DRY SURFACE
Don't believe the talk that no preparations need to be made!
A rule of thumb could be that surfaces that are particularly subject to heavy wear should be roughened or sanded carefully (chair seats, table tops, etc.).
- After cleaning, the surface is sanded.
- Painting is done on a dry and clean surface.
- Light surface roughening or sanding is an important step and affects the durability of the paint surface, do not skip these steps.
- All paints benefit from careful preparation.
