Sometimes it can be a situation that choosing a paint series is difficult and you wonder if the tone and series you have chosen is suitable for your own project.

Since we also have several sets, we want to help you find the right set for your project.

In this short guide, we present you with the most common options to make your choice easier.

In brief:

• Only the Al Fresco series is suitable for outdoor furniture.
• All series are suitable for interior surfaces and furniture.
• Waxes and Finishing coatings: for untreated and painted wood.

When choosing paint for your project, note that the sets have different levels of gloss, different shades per set and different container sizes per set. You can read more about the preparations here.

Frenchic sets, jar size, quantity and gloss level

For example, pet nails, sand and stones easily scratch any paint surface.

Not suitable for areas with standing water, such as the floor of a shower or sauna, and Frenchic paints cannot be used as waterproofing for structures.

Finishing coatings

Not for tile floors.

For decorative floor painting, stripes or stencil design, you can also use all other Frenchic sets.

If you wish, you can finish the painted surface with a fast-drying, glossy or matte finishing coating.

PAIN ONLY CLEAN, INTACT AND DRY SURFACES

You don't believe the talk that no preparations need to be made!

A rule of thumb could be that surfaces that are subject to heavy wear should be carefully roughened or sanded (chair seat, table top, etc.).

• After cleaning, the surface is sanded.
• Painting is done on a dry and clean surface.
• Light surface roughening or sanding is an important step and affects the durability of the paint surface, do not skip these steps.
• All paints benefit from careful preparation.
