Green can act as a balancing color in the interior, complementing other shades and adding harmony to the space.

Relaxing green

Many shades of green are known for their calming properties, which makes them ideal for bedrooms, living rooms and areas where you want to relax and count a few rounds of everyday life.

Imagery and Biophilic interior design

Color images and language images - similes - often come from nature: grass, forest, moss.
Biophilic interior design is now a style favored by decorators, which focuses on nature and naturalness.

The color green is a central part of biophilic design, which aims to connect the interior with nature. It is often used in the form of houseplants, green walls or nature-inspired decor.
Natural interior design promotes well-being and at the same time you bring natural harmony to your home by choosing natural tones, combining tones with natural, warm surfaces, such as brick, clean wooden surfaces and, for example, cork.

Biophilic design creates peaceful spaces where the mind rests - just like in nature.

Since we have an innate longing for nature, the solution in the built environment is to bring more nature into the interiors and interior design with colors and genuine choices of surface materials.
The green interior color can be found in the Frenchic series.

Green color in home renovation

Wall colors:
Green wall colors can create a feeling of calmness and a connection with nature. Lighter greens can open up a space, while darker greens can add depth and coziness. You increase the atmosphere, nest-likeness and hotel-style glamor by using really dark shades.

Furniture and decoration
Green upholstery, furniture and decorative items can add color and personality to the interior. Green also works well with natural materials such as wood and rattan. Paint a half-panel with a timeless Art Nouveau green, such as Wise Old Sage in an old house, and use cheerful apple green in the front man's garden furniture.

Retro, traditional and modern at the same time
Earthy and muted shades of green, such as olive or moss, have gained popularity for their ability to create a grounded and organic aesthetic. Smoky, muted green or water green are now extremely popular in aesthetic interior design!

Combine with green
All subdued, earthy tones are sure choices to pair with green. Feel free to also combine red as a contrasting color and different shades of red such as pink and mauve - or how about yellow?

Try clay gray, terracotta orange, brick tones. Limestone light beige, cocoa brown or even powdery pink.
Soft off-white and cream tones go well with greens – so do broken blues – think examples from nature. The matte shades of Frenchic shades are easy and safe to combine with each other.

Combine green with other natural and authentic surfaces in the interior, such as terracotta pots, brick surfaces, real and rough wooden surfaces, cork.
Linen, wool and other textured surfaces go well with green - as do metal, stone and glass surfaces.

The human eye loves to look at contrasts, which always make a space a little more interesting

In addition to colors, the atmosphere of the space is influenced by lighting and the use of lights. For a space with little natural light, choose warm tones.
Green is often somewhere between warm and cool - depending on the shade.
For this reason, it can be combined in a variety of ways and is naturally suitable for most objects.

Remember that you can still break all these 'rules' and that colors are always a personal experience.

Feel free to use colors that you like, and you will get their pleasure benefits best in your everyday life!
