Start here to get acquainted with the versatile Frenchic Paint® paint series

Great that you found us! In this article, we briefly go through the new features of the award-winning Frenchic Paint® paint series as well as the differences between the series and their uses.

Painting with Frenchic Paint is quite simple (of course, there are always numerous exceptions)

  1. Clean the surface to be painted thoroughly from grease and dirt
  2. Rinse off the detergent you used
  3. Sand or roughen. Wipe off the dust.
  4. Paint at least twice with carefully mixed paint. Follow the drying times of each coat.
  5. There you go!

Some of the most important and beloved features of Frenchic paints:

  • Fast-drying paint series. Drying times per coat vary per series from 1-4h.
  • Paint series containing primer: excellent adhesion, prevents impurities and knot bleed-through. Levels small dents and unevenness.
  • Levels into a beautiful, smooth surface even when painted with a brush.
  • Contains necessary protective agents already, so no topcoat or wax is needed. For example, Al Fresco series paints also contain both mold inhibitors and UV protection to prevent color fading.
  • White shades do not yellow
  • All Frenchic Paint® series shades are 100% solvent-free, water-based.
  • The shades resemble traditional colors and differ from domestic offerings

The gloss levels of the series are:

    • Lazy Range: matte
    • Al Fresco: matte
    • Trim Paint: satin
    • Wall paint: ultra matte

  • All Frenchic Paint series paints are suitable for interior surfaces and winter-cold spaces, such as caravans - and car surface renovations, summer cottages, and porches.
  • Only Al Fresco series paints are suitable for exterior painting. (also for interior surfaces)
  • Each series has its own shades.
  • Can size varies per series.
  • Inspiring social community:join in and see what others have painted!
  • One paint series suits many surfaces: reduces waste and saves you money at the same time.
  • All Frenchic series paints are suitable, for example, for painting furniture or kitchen cabinets, and the painted surface becomes durable and washable.

  • With the wall paint series and Tuff Top Coat -Top Coat we have the highest possible ISO rating for washability: wet abrasion class 1
  • Frenchic wall paints have been awarded best wall paint for two years as well as best washable paint.
  • Al Fresco series paints are suitable for outdoors and indoors: wood, metal, MDF, plastic, glass, concrete, and ceramic tiles.
  • The Al Fresco series was chosen as the best garden furniture paint in 2025.
  • All Frenchic paints are tested, non-toxic, plastic-free, and safe to use. Each series has the European 'Toy Safe' certification.
  • Frenchic natural waxes are beeswax-based, really pleasant to use
  • Frenchic paints are low-odor and pleasant to use indoors
  • Frenchic paints have a high pigment and solid content, so they cover well. For this reason, mixing the paints is very important.

  • The composition of Frenchic paints is thicker than what you're used to, even gel-like - really pleasant to use, excellently smooth and almost drip-free. Trim Paint series paints have the thinnest composition in this series.
  • Even beginners can achieve a beautiful and smooth surface finish with Frenchic paints
  • A very easy-to-use and versatile new paint series
  • Suitable for large home renovations and smaller interior painting
  • For both professionals and home painters
