Like most paper pulp-based air-dry clays, it naturally has some shrinkage, warping, and cracking.\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eWe like these features because they give a worn, authentic vintage look. Our favorite way to apply molded pieces is to remove them from the mold while still damp and attach them to the surface with suitable glue so they conform well, especially if you want to attach the decoration to a convex or curved surface. On vertical surfaces, you can also use tape to hold the decoration in place.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eCasting resins\/epoxies: There are good casting resins available. These have very different properties from paper clay. They do not shrink or warp, and cast pieces are smoother. Depending on the project, these features can be useful. If they need to conform to a curved surface, this is possible if removed from the mold before the piece is fully cured.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eNote!
